SAINT-ANTONIN-NOBLE-VAL,
IN THE HEART OF THE CAUSSES AND THE GORGES OF THE AVEYRON, STARTING FROM OUR CAMPSITE IN OCCITANIA

Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val is located in the Tarn-et-Garonne department, just 30 minutes from our campsite in Tarn (81), Le Soleil des Bastides in Cahuzac-sur-Vère, and 50 minutes from Albi. At the crossroads of Quercy, Albigeois and Rouergue, Saint-Antonin is one of the oldest towns in the region. Its covered market, narrow streets and historic houses with Romanesque and Gothic architecture are perfect for a relaxing stroll.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • In the town centre, you’ll find listed historic houses, the Church of Saint Antonin, the Genovéfains convent (formerly the Canons’ House and now the town hall). The municipal museum is housed in the old Viscount’s Palace, built in 1125.
  • Just 3.5 km away is the Bosc Cave, home to a mineral and fossil museum. You can also visit the prehistoric site of Fontalès.

THE CHÂTEAU DE CAS
Take a journey through the centuries! From the time of the Gauls to the Knights Templar, the Château de Cas – a member of the Tarn-et-Garonne Sites Club – reveals centuries of history. Founded in the 9th century and once a Templar commandery in the 13th, the château suffered heavy damage during the French Revolution and again during WWII. It was brought back to life by its owners, the de Lastic Saint Jal family. Surrounded by elegant French-style gardens, the château offers a unique trip through time.

A lovely excursion to plan during your stay with us!
